QATAR INTERNATIONAL FOOD FESTIVAL

The 15th edition of the Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) is officially in full swing at the 974 Stadium Precinct. This year, the festival is bigger than ever, featuring over 100 vendors ranging from world-class restaurants to local hidden gems. Beyond the tasting booths, visitors can enjoy the “Cooking Studio” for live masterclasses with celebrity chefs or experience the thrill of “Dinner in the Sky.” As the sun sets, don’t miss the nightly fireworks and drone shows at 9:00 PM, which light up the Ras Abu Aboud skyline in a spectacular display of tech and color.

KATARA INTERNATIONAL KAHRAMAN EXHIBITION

For those who appreciate craftsmanship and history, the Katara International Kahraman (Amber) Exhibition is a must-visit. Held in Building 12 (Katara Hall), this sixth edition brings together artisans and exhibitors from 13 different countries. You can explore a stunning collection of rare amber stones, intricate prayer beads, and bespoke jewelry. The exhibition offers a quiet, sophisticated atmosphere where you can learn about the “gold of the north” and its cultural significance in the region.

QATAR KITE FESTIVAL

The Old Doha Port provides a picturesque backdrop for the Qatar Kite Festival 2026. Starting this weekend, the sky above Mina Park will be “painted” with giant, whimsical kites flown by professional teams from around the globe. It is a true “kaleidoscopic” experience for families, featuring night-flying shows with illuminated kites that dance against the dark. If you are feeling creative, there are interactive workshops for children where they can build their own kites and receive free giveaways to join the fun.

PAKISTAN CITRUS FESTIVAL

If you’re looking for a refreshing afternoon trip, head south to the Pakistan Citrus Festival at the Al Wakrah Old Souq. Located at Al Madhoub Port (the waterfront area), this festival celebrates the peak of the citrus season with premium exports directly from Pakistan. It is a wonderful opportunity to sample the world-renowned kinnow (mandarin) and other zesty treats in a traditional market setting. Open daily from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, it is the perfect way to enjoy the cool winter breeze while tasting the best of the harvest.

DOHA MARATHON BY OREEDO

20,000 runners, 160 nationalities, about 2200 international participants- the 14 th edition of Doha Marathon Race will flagg off at “The marathon Village, Hotel Park “on 15th January 2026 from 3pm to 4 pm and on 16th January 2026 at 5 am to 12: 30 pm . This competitive and family friendly race host activities at Doha Corniche with different categories ranging from kids race 5 km, 10 km, 21 km & 42 km. The presence of Richard Whitehead, a Paralympic Champion and Tola Tamirat an Olympic Marathon Champion will be a golden plume to the event. One can join and cheer for the racers.
